Project 6: Painting the Master Bedroom

I'm excited to show you what we did last weekend... let's jump right in:

Here is the 'Before' picture, just to jog your memory:


This is after the foundation work:


So, I started this project by trimming the edges (we'll talk about trimming next week):


Then it was time to roll the paint:


After the first coat dried, this is what it looked like, so we rolled on another coat:



Finally we have a painted bedroom!



Let's look at that 'Before' and 'After' again:




We've still got a lot to do in the Master, but it's at least starting to not feel like a construction zone. (:



Project cost: $75 (we had to get two gallons of paint...and some painting supplies)


Time: 12 hours (split into two days)

Difficulty: Easy. There is a reason TLC shows encourage you to paint your walls to change it up. It's one of the easiest and cheapest ways to make a big difference.
