Saturday was L.J.'s 29th birthday. (Warning: if you don't
like mushy posts, move along).
Ten years ago I celebrated his 19th birthday with him. It is
crazy to think of how long it has been and how we've both changed. That's one
of the many wonderful parts of marriage - seeing your spouce grow over the
years. And I have to say, I am pretty darn proud of the husband and man L.J.
Has grown into. His love for other people and focus on our family is a rare
treasure.
As we move towards adding to our little family, I get more
and more excited about L.J. becoming a father. I see his love for me and both
of our families and I just know he’s going to love our kids with a reckless
abandon. I know that may sound a little silly to say, but in this day and age I
see a lot of young men who feel unsure about their ability to be a father. But
my husband has everything it takes and I can’t wait to see him with our kids.
I
know this is a lot of ‘father’ talk for someone with not kids yet – can you
tell what’s on the brain? But L.J. has been and will continue to be the best
partner I could have asked for and I’m so excited about what the next ten years
hold.
He’s
one of a kind and I’m so blessed he’s mine! Love you babe! Happy 29th
Birthday!
