Well I'm happy to say that I'm finally done. Those darn drawers kept slipping my mind on the weekends and staring me in the face during the week. Here's the after:
So you don't have to go read old posts to catch up, here's a brief overview of the project:
When we bought the house:
Cleaned and removed the doors:
Primed:
Painted... but forgot the drawers (sorry, didn't take a straight on picture, I must have been too assumed):
And that's where we were until this past weekend. I took the drawers out and removed their drawer pulls.
After all, this just isn't my style:
Then I primed:
And painted:
Added new hardware:
And done! Let's see the before and after next to each other:
SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!
Project Cost: For this leg of the project was only $15 (drawer pulls were $2.50 each)
Time: Took about a half hour to paint a coat on all the drawers. It took one coat of primer and three of paint, so total about 2 hours of painting, and then 10 minutes to change out the drawer pulls.
Difficulty: Easy as Pie.
