Ok, I promise this is the last of the Fine Furniture Finds posts... :) What can I say? When we go furniture shopping we don't mess around.
The last piece is an adorable chair. I have to brag on my husband for a minute here. See, when we were shopping at Star Furniture I saw this cute red and white chair and let out a "ohhhhh! How cute!". He saw me admire it and asked what the price was. Unfortunately, $350 was way too much to spend on a chair we don't need. So we moved on. LJ made the comment that it didn't match anyways.
Later that day, when we walked into Bel Furniture, what was sitting right in the entrance? My chair! There was the exact same chair for less than half the price. I gave it a longing glance and moved on to start shopping. Later, when we were sitting around waiting for the salesman to fill out the paper work for our four items, LJ just casually suggests I get the chair I liked. I was pretty shocked to hear him say that. Not that my husband isn't generous, but we had just bought four pieces of furniture and he didn't even think the chair would look good in our home. The only reason he wanted to get it was to make me happy. :)
Here it is:
Now, let me just state this fact, I fully believe this chair will look good in our future home. LJ needs to see it to know it works but I've got it all in my mind's eye. I think we'll use it in our living room until we are able to buy a recliner. Eventually I want to get one for LJ, but it's not top priority. They are not cheap and it will be hard to find one he finds comfortable and I find visually appealing. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. In the time being, this chair will be a great pop of color. :)
This concludes our Bel Furniture shopping trip. I think we did a pretty dang good job!
