Halloween: Landry's Style

I have to tell you, I can't imagine an office that is more fun on Halloween. From the time I walked in on Wednesday morning until when I left I was constantly delighted by the creativity and costumes of my coworkers. I suppose the contest encourages that, but many people who didn't enter in the contest still went all out. There was so much to see I can't share it all, so I'll give you what I consider the highlights. There were three contests, best pumpkin, best dessert and best costume.

Pumpkins:
Most of the pumpkins were the same from last time, but there were a couple new ones that were pretty good:

Desserts:
There were around 2 dozen people who bright in a dessert and after the contest was over they were up for grabs. Not going to lie, might have eaten 4 cake pops... all delicious (and some other wonderful desserts).

(there are bat cookies hanging from that tree, isn't that cute!)

Costumes:
I snapped as many pictures as I could, believe me there was a lot to see. Some were taken in the hallways, others on the runway. Here are some girls from marketing:

Zombies in the Hallway!

Hermione!

Flapper

Voodoo Doll

Sandy (Grease), Binder full of Women & Oliva Newton John
Self Portrait of Frida
Victorian Lost Soul (there was dry ice bubbling smoke out of the lantern. Very cool.)

Ever heard of PSY Gangnam Style?
Here's a group picture:

Here are some other great costumes:
This needs no caption :) I was so scared she would fall...it would have been SPLAT (no arms)

Pinata - she threw out candy while someone else hit her with a stick
Roman Emperor who had a slave throwing out bread.

Booth Jasmine AND her tiger

Sphinx with four little dead mummies carrying it

Here's another one. The deatil on this was was amazing. (and he only got fourth place!)

Cute idea: loofah

Dead bride and her groom

One Night Stand

I don't think this one needs a caption :)

Disco fever or something like that. It's a woman who looks like John Travolta...and she won first place.
Hard to believe disco beat transformer with flashing lights, but I'm not the judge :\
It was a lot of fun! :) Then I went home to pass out candy. So many Disney princesses! But the best trick or treater was the cutest strawberry in the strawberry patch:
Eddy & Jen with Talia!
