Merry Christmas!

Did you have a good Christmas? I know I did. LJ and I are fortunate enough to live near both of our families and so we get to see everyone during the Christmas season. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with everyone. God's gift to man is the most important part of Christmas; and we celebrate by giving one another gifts. It's not surprising that our first Christmas as homeowners was filled with gifts for the home. LJ and I are very blessed to have such generous people in our lives, and I'd like to share a few things we were given:

We cheated a little on this one... it was bought on Black Friday and we were allowed to start using it early.

We've already used the grill multiple times. I'm so excited to finally own one! Thanks Mom & Dad! 

Another Black Friday buy was an exercise bike from Academy Sports & Outdoors. Daniel was nice enough to help me put it together.

You'll see in a future post where this ends up in our house.

LJ got me a new laptop, which isn't really for the house...but I use it for this blog so I'm including it.

Another gift I'm excited to use with guests is this 3 Crock Slow Cooker my in laws gave me. It'll come in handy on NYE, now I just have to decide what 3 things to cook...

The biggest surprise this year was a gift from my parents. They got me a print of this picture.

This print reminds me of LJ and myself. We just enjoy being together so much, and there is almost always a lot of laughter. I absolutely love this picture and can't wait to get it framed and put on our bedroom wall!!! (To see my post on this artist click here)
