Can I just interrupt myself and say - How did I ever plan anything before Pinterest existed? Seriously... I wish that had been around when I got married!
Ok, anyways... I thought I'd share some of the decor we used. I did a lot of DIY on a budget... basically par for the course around here. And I think it turned out pretty cute! Jenni's wedding colors are light grey, blush and cream (so pretty!).
I made streamers by cutting 12"x6" pieces of paper into a zig zag pattern and hanging them from the ceiling. I also was fortunate enough to have some friends who let me borrow their supplies, including the cute chalk boards.
The dining room was where we put the food, using chalk board contact paper as a runner so we could label everything in a fun way.
Drinks in the kitchen and games here and there.
I also made this light string using dixie cups and scrapbook paper.
The lights outlined the entrance to the room we used as a photo booth.
Renting an actual photo booth isn't cheap, and this allows more people to partake at the same time. Here's a couple of my favorite shots:

Can't wait until Estes! I'll be sure to post pics of the beautiful wedding!
I love that you have a semi-permanent photo booth room! fabulous! And - SUPER cute decorations - I love the lights with the cups - like wedding bells! And the date night jar idea! SO fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Claire! Hey man, when you have 2 people in a 5 bedroom house... why not have a photo booth room? (: Actually, some day when we have guest bedroom furniture or kids to take up the space (your guess is as good as mine as to which comes first) I'm going to miss our photo booth room. Makes me feel so rich!
