Project 13: Hey Baby, What's Your Number?

You know, normally I'm a person who notices details, but for some reason I didn't notice that our house didn't have address numbers on it until a few weeks after we moved in. It explained why it was so hard for our friends to find!

I finally got around to getting our numbers up, so here it goes!

It's a pretty simple project. Here is the before, close up:

Here is the before, from the street:

I just used a power drill to hang the number. I probably should have done some measuring and made sure they were evenly spaced and all that...but I didn't. I just head them up and eyeballed it. I did get someone to stand back and tell me 'left, right, up, down, ect'...

I'm glad we have numbers now, but I don't know if things will stay as is... It looks good up close:

But from the street it's hard to see the silver numbers on the white pillar:

Maybe I'll paint the pillar a dark color...or maybe I'll paint the numbers later. But for now, I'm just glad people can find us!

Project cost: $8

Time: 5 minutes

Difficulty: SUPER easy
